NABIL Bank Ltd. is the Nepal’s first ever joint venture bank that initiated its operation on 12th July 1984. Nepal bank (international) limited Ireland was its joint venture partner at that time. It also received management support from national bank of Bangladesh, Dhaka at the time of inauguration. Its authorized capital used to have only rs.100 million at the starting time. Now it has ascended its capital to Rs.500 million. With advancement it has 14 branches on a national scale which is the utmost number of any joint venture bank in Nepal.
